Biathlon: big crowds at Stockholm’s Skidskyttekampen on Monday
The big day is approaching. The Skidskyttekampen, a biathlon show held in the Olympic stadium in Stockholm (Sweden), takes place on Monday 3 March. For the second edition of this Swedish exhibition race, the organisers have assembled an XXL line-up, even though the World Cup will resume a few days later in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic).
First of all, two French teams have been invited to the event: Emilien Jacquelin and Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, who finished third a year ago, andEric Perrot and Océane Michelon. Opposite the French will be three Norwegian duos: Juni Arnekleiv/Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen, the defending champions, Karoline Knotten/Tarjei Boe and Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold/Johannes Thingnes Boe.
With just a few weeks to go before the end of their career, the brothers will be in the Swedish capital for one last show.
Fourteen teams on the starting line
The Swedes will also be out in force with three teams: Hanna Oeberg/Martin Ponsiluoma, Elvira Oeberg/Sebastian Samuelsson and Anna Magnusson/Jesper Nelin.
Six other duos have also been announced: Lisa Theresa Hauser/Simon Eder for Austria, Suvi Minkkinen/Tero Seppälä for Finland, Lena Haecki-Gross/Niklas Hartweg for Switzerland, Yuliia Dzhima/Dmytro Pidruchnyi for Ukraine, Polona Klemencic/Miha Dovzan for Slovenia and Deedra Irwin/Campbell Wright for the United States.

- 4.50pm: Shooting tests
- 5.40pm: opening ceremony
- 6.07pm: first qualifying round of the mixed singles relay
- 6.35pm: Second qualifying round of the mixed singles relay
- 7.05pm: women’s individual (for those eliminated)
- 7.20pm: Men’s individual (for those eliminated)
- 7.35pm: Mixed singles relay final
- 8.30pm: end of the show
- Justine Braisaz-Bouchet at the start of the Skidskyttekampen on 3 March
