Biathlon: the Norwegians head for Italy
The Norwegian biathletes have been in their homelandfor almost two months now, since the end of the meeting organised in Livigno (Italy) and on the Lavazè Pass (Italy). After competing in the Blink Festival races at the beginning of August, they leave the kingdom this Friday to return to Italy, where a long training camp at altitude awaits them.
Firstly, until 8th September, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, Ida Lien, Marthe Kraakstad Johansen, Juni Arnekleiv, Maren Kirkeeide and Ragnhild Femsteinevik will be training in Antholz (Italy). A site where the leader of the group came to carry out solo sessions in July.
In the midst of this gathering at the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games stadium, they will be taking part in the Italian Summer Championships on 30 and 31 August.

However, Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, Sturla Holm Lægreid, Endre Stroemsheim, Martin Uldal, Vebjoern Soerum and Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen will not be competing. They will be at Seiser Alm (Italy) and then at the Lavazè Pass until September 11.
The Norwegians will then take part in their national championships in Molde (Norway) on 20 and 21 September, before returning to the Col de Lavazè from 6 to 23 October. Finally, they will be back on the snow from 5 to 16 November in Geilo (Norway) for a course marked by the opening races.
