Biathlon: Lou Jeanmonnot on the rise
On the first two days of the 2024/2025 Biathlon World Cup, Franc-Comtoise Lou Jeanmonnot twice finished on the podium. Second in the mixed relay on Saturday, she took that place again on Sunday in the women’s relay.
Her individual performances, however, were not the same according to her feelings: disappointed with her performance in the mixed relay, she was enthusiastic following the women’s relay, which she finished at 10/10 in front of the targets.

“I’m happy with my shot, she told Nordic Magazine. There are [still] a few things to improve in terms of the fluidity of the set-up and the speed of execution, but nothing very important. As far as the skiing is concerned, I’m pretty happy with the management. I’m especially happy to see that my sensations and my body are improving very quickly with the races.”
Lou Jeanmonnot simply explained how she had improved on her first outing of the winter: “I had a bit more juice and I was able to keep going for longer periods.” On Wednesday, in the individual short, the Doubiste rider from Olympic Mont d’Or will be looking to shine solo.
