Biathlon: the names of the sixteen Frenchmen selected for the World Youth and Junior Championships have been announced
On Monday afternoon, the French Ski Federation (FFS) unveiled the list of French biathletes selected for the Youth and Junior World Championships scheduled for 28 February to 8 March in Arber (Germany).
The event will feature a total of sixteen athletes, selected largely on the basis of their results since the start of 2026 in the French Cup races at Méribel (Savoie), Contamines-Montjoie (Haute-Savoie) andAutrans (Isère).

In the juniors (U21), Léo Carlier, Camille Grataloup-Manissolle and Guillaume Poirot, who are protected after having discovered the IBU Cup in recent weeks, will be accompanied in Germany by Féclazien Antonin Delsol. Antonin Guy, Flavio Guy and Judicaël Perrillat-Bottonet will be left behind.

The women’s squad is without Voldiya Galmace-Paulin, who has decided to focus on the IBU Cup tour of the USA rather than the World Junior Championships. Namou Candau-Armand, Lou-Anne Dupont Ballet-Baz, Thémice Fontaine and Louise Roguet have been selected. Coralie Perrin, Lola Bugeaud and Maëla Correia are the big disappointments missing from the list.

In the youth category (U19), Tom Bouillet, Nans Madelenat, Sacha Mazzilli-Riaboff and Emile Perrillat-Bottonet stood out to book their ticket for Germany, as did Matilda Dodos, Juliette Oliva, Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet and Romane Ouvrier-Buffet in the women’s category.
The disappointed were Maëlle Achoui, Rosalie Odile, Thaïs Royet, Léna Brun, Joanne Weiss, Fiona Laurent, Niels Bibollet, Marius Thiriat, Victor Lainé, Esteban Moreira and Mathis Lainé.
