Biathlon: not everyone is allowed to take part in the Bessans selection races
The traditional selections in Bessans (Savoie) are approaching. The first races of the winter will take place on the Savoyard snowfarm on 15, 16 and 18 November.
For this event, which is not part of the national circuit, biathletes are added to the list of participants by invitation. The results of the Summer Tour races, as well as those of recent seasons, are taken into account when compiling this list.
On Friday, the French Ski Federation (FFS) published its long-awaited guest list. Unsurprisingly, all the members of the federal groups are on board (with the exception of the men’s A group and Gaëtan Paturel, currently on training in Geilo, Norway).

Fany Bertrand, Camille Coupé, Lisa Siberchicot, Maëla Correia, Violette Bony, Eva Laine and Léonie Jeannier rounded off the women’s field.
The men’s team includes Mathieu Garcia, Benjamin de Grimaudet de Rochebouët, Nathanaël Peaquin, Clément Pirès, Rémi Broutier, Alexis Colomban, Judicaël Perrillat-Bottonet, Enzo Bouillet, Lionel Jouannaud, Ilann Dupont, Cyprien Mermillod-Blardet and Adrien Baylac.

- 8.10-8.30: weapons check and removal of ladies’ skis
