Biathlon : off to Le Grand-Bornand for the World Cup
Absent from the calendar last winter to make way for the pre-World Cup stage in Lenzerheide (Switzerland), the Annecy – Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) Biathlon World Cup is back on the programme this week.
After races in Kontiolahti (Finland) and Hochfilzen (Austria), the world circuit will be setting up camp at the Sylvie-Becaert stadium in the heart of the village of Le Grand-Bornand. Incidentally, this will be the sixth World Cup to be held in the Aravis region, following on from 2013, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2022.

The programme includes sprints on Thursday and Friday (2.20pm), pursuits on Saturday (12.30pm and 2.45pm) and, to top it all off, mass-starts on Sunday (12.30pm and 2.45pm).
A royal schedule like Le Grand-Bornand and its noisy public – over 60,000 people are expected throughout the week – is used to!
