Biathlon: the World Cup caravan moves to Hochfilzen
After kicking off and spending ten days in the Finnish night of Kontiolahti (Finland), the Biathlon World Cup moves to Hochfilzen (Austria) at the start of this week. In this village of less than 2,000 inhabitants in the Tyrol, three days of competition are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
For starters, the biathletes will have to compete in sprints (11.30am for the women, 2.20pm for the men). Then, for the main course, they will have to contend with pursuits (12.10pm for the women, 2.45pm for the men), the first of the season. Finally, on the last day, relays (11.30am for the women, 2.15pm for the men) are scheduled for dessert.

Sweden’s Elvira Oeberg and Peiserot Eric Perrot will start this second stage of the World Cup wearing the yellow bib.
