Biathlon: another round of the IBU Cup on the programme this week
This week, the fifth leg of the2024/2025 IBU Biathlon Cup takes place at the Narodne Biatlonove Centrum in Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia).
At this venue, which hosted the World Championships in 1997, the year the pursuits were introduced,individual short races are scheduled to start on Wednesday (10.30 am for the men, 2.30 pm for the women).
After a day’s break, Friday will be reserved for sprints (11.00 am for the men, 2.30 pm for the women), while the hostilities will conclude on Saturday with mixed events (mixed relay at 10.30 am, mixed single relay at 1.45 pm).

- 10.30 am: Men’s 15 km individual short
- 2.30pm: Women’s individual short 12.5 km
Friday 17 January
- 11.00: men’s 10 km sprint
- 2.30pm: women’s 7.5 km sprint
Saturday 18 January
- 10.30 am: Mixed relay
- 1.45pm: Mixed singles relay
