Biathlon: off to Pokljuka and Slovenia for the World Cup
This week, the biathlon world cup circuit moves to Pokljuka (Slovenia). For the first time since January 2023, the world circuit is setting up camp in Upper Carniola, at the foot of the Julian Alps and above Bled (Slovenia).
Just a few weeks after hosting the Para Biathlon World Championships, the Slovenian venue will be welcoming the world’s best biathletes for the eighth leg of the 2024/2025 season.

The programme for this penultimate round of the winter season includes the opening individual races (Thursday at 3.15pm for the women, Friday at 3.15pm for the men). Mixed events (1.05pm for the mixed relay, 3.45pm for the mixed singles relay) will take place on Saturday, followed by mass-starts (1.35pm for the women, 3.44pm for the men) on Sunday.

Thursday 13 March
- 3.15pm: Women’s 15km individual
Friday 14th March
- 3.15pm: Men’s 20km individual
Saturday 15 March
- 1.05pm: Mixed relay
- 3.45pm: Mixed singles relay
Sunday 16 March
- 1.35pm: women’s 12.5 km mass-start
- 3.45pm: men’s 15km mass-start
