Biathlon: continuation of the IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna
After the first stage in Obertilliach (Austria), the IBU Cup biathlon circuit moves to Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy) this week. The Ridnaun Biathlonstadion will be the venue for another round of high-level competition, with a host of top names lining up at the start of the various races.
It has to be said that the province of Bolzano will be home to Amandine Mengin, Sophie Chauveau, Isak Frey, Emilie Kalkenberg, Voldiya Galmace-Paulin, Endre Stroemsheim, reigning world mass-start champion, and Antonin Guigonnat.
The programme kicks off on Thursday with the first individual races of the season. The men will be on deck from 10.20 am, while the women will don their bibs from 2.30 pm. Saturday will be reserved for the sprints (10.45 am, 2.30 pm) and Sunday for the pursuits (10.45 am, 1.30 pm).
