Biathlon: the World Cup comes to Ruhpolding
After the first four stages in Östersund (Sweden), Hochfilzen (Austria) then Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) in December and Oberhof (Germany) in the last few days, the 2025/2026 Biathlon World Cup continues its journey this week in Bavaria.
Ruhpolding (Germany) is the venue for the fifth round of the winter season. At the legendary Chiemgau Arena, which is used to hosting events on the world circuit, no fewer than five days of competition are scheduled.

On Wednesday, a women’s relay will take place (2.30pm), while the following day, also at 2.30pm, the men’s relay will be run. Then, on Friday, the women’s sprint will take place at 2.30pm, followed by the men’s sprint on Saturday (2.30pm). Finally, Sunday will see the pursuits take place, with the women starting at 12.30 p.m. and the men at 3 p.m.

- 2.30pm: Men’s 4×7.5km relay

- 2.30pm: Men’s 10 km sprint
Sunday 18 January
- 12.30pm: women’s 10 km pursuit
- 15:00: Men’s 12.5 km pursuit
