Biathlon: time for the U15 National Challenge
Between two rounds of the French Biathlon Cup circuit, the U15 National Challenge takes place this weekend in Autrans, in the Vercors. Organised by US Autrans, the local club, it will take place at the David Moretti stadium on the Plateau de Gève.
The programme for this event, which is reserved for under-15s, is simple: 4.5km sprints will be held on Saturday, before mass-starts, also 4.5km long, take place throughout the day on Sunday.
An overall ranking will be drawn up, taking into account the results of the two days , as well as a club ranking, with the David Moretti trophy awarded to the best club.

Friday 7 March
- 9.00-10.30am: Official training session 1
- 10.45am-12.15pm: official training session 2
- 12.45pm-2.15pm: Official training session 3
- 14:30-16:00: Official training session 4
- 6.00 pm: race committee in Autrans, at the Foulée Blanche building
Saturday 8 March
- 8.30am-9.15am: U15 men’s rifle inspection
- 9.15am-10.20am: Men’s U15 shooting trials
- 10.30am: U15 men’s 4.5km sprint
- 11.45am-12.30pm: U15 women’s rifle inspection
- 12.00: prize-giving ceremony for the U15 men’s race of the day (top 10)
- 12.30pm-1.35pm: U15 women’s shooting trials
- 1.45pm: U15 women’s 4.5km sprint
- 3.15pm: prize-giving ceremony for the U15 women’s race of the day (top 10)
Sunday 9 March
- 8.00am-8.45am: U15 men’s rifle inspection
- 9.45am-9.50am: Men’s U15 shooting trials
- 10.00: mass-start n°1 4.5 km U15 men
- 10.25 am: mass-start no. 2 4.5 km U15 men
- 10.50 am: mass-start n°3 4.5 km U15 men
- 11:15: mass-start no. 4 4.5 km U15 men
- 11:40: mass-start n°5 4.5 km U15 men
- 12.15pm: prize-giving ceremony for the U15 men’s race of the day (top 10) + general ranking (top 5)
- 12:30-13:00: U15 women’s rifle inspection
- 1pm-2.05pm: U15 women’s shooting trials
- 2.15pm: mass-start no. 1 4.5 km U15 women
- 2.40pm: mass-start no. 2 4.5km U15 women
- 3.05pm: mass-start n°3 4.5 km U15 women
- 15:30: mass-start no. 4 4.5 km U15 women
- 4.05pm: prize-giving ceremony for the U15 women’s race of the day (top 10) + general ranking (top 5) + club ranking (top 3)
