Biathlon: a different route to Nove Mesto for Les Bleus
This week, the biathlon World Cup caravan travels from Ruhpolding (Germany) to Nove Mesto (Czech Republic). For the French team, the strategy adopted between the two legs of the world circuit is different.
The women’s group set off for France in the early afternoon of Sunday, as soon as the Bavarian chase was over and the media and anti-doping obligations had been completed. Having arrived home in the evening, Les Bleues now have two days to spend at home before heading to the Czech Republic on Wednesday, two days before the individual short.

On the men’s side, the French remained in Ruhpolding on Sunday evening and will head for Nove Mesto on Monday. It has to be said that their first race is scheduled for Thursday, making a trip through France at the start of the week rather inefficient.
