Biathlon: Norway down to seventeen for the World Cup finals
On Monday lunchtime, the Norwegian Biathlon Association made its selection official for the World Cup in Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway), the final stage of the winter season starting on Friday.
For the last time in their careers, just a few days before hanging up their skis and rifles, Johannes Thingnes Boe and Tarjei Boe appear on a list of biathletes called up for a round of the world circuit. They will be joined by Sturla Holm Lægreid, the current overall leader, Endre Stroemsheim, Vebjoern Soerum, Martin Uldal, Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, Isak Frey and Kasper Kalkenberg.

Best athlete at the World Junior Championships in Östersund (Sweden), he will be making his World Cup debut this weekend. It should be noted that Sivert Guttorm Bakken, Sverre Dahlen Aspenes and Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen remain on the doorstep of this end-of-winter selection.
On the women’s side, the squad is made up of eight members, with Juni Arnekleiv and Karoline Erdal joining from the IBU Cup circuit. Ragnhild Femsteinevik, Marthe Kraakstad Johansen, Maren Kirkeeide, Ida Lien, Karoline Knotten and Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold are all back in the squad.
