Biathlon: eleven Italians in Östersund
At midday on Wednesday, the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) unveiled the list of biathletes selected for the World Cup, which starts on 29 November in Östersund (Sweden).
After a season without racing on the world circuit, Lisa Vittozzi makes her return to the Italian squad. Dorothea Wierer, who finished on the podium of the mass-start races in Geilo (Norway) last weekend, is also in the squad. Michela Carrara, Hannah Auchentaller and Samuela Comola complete the group.

In the men’s race, leader Tommaso Giacomel will be joined in the Dalarna county by Didier Bionaz, Daniele Cappellari, Lukas Hofer, Elia Zeni and Patrick Braunhofer.
