Biathlon: No Loop One Festival for Justine Braisaz-Bouchet
Earlier this week, Cyril Burdet, the coach of the French women’s biathlon team, told Nordic Magazine that Justine Braisaz-Bouchet would be absent from the training camp in Ramsau (Austria), which began on Tuesday and is scheduled to last until 17 October.
“She chose to stay with her family in October, as was the case in the past for Anaïs [Chevalier-Bouchet]”, revealed the Savoie-based coach in our columns. So it’s in Bessans (Savoie) that the Beaufortaine has decided to train, with her husband and daughter Côme.
At the same time, he hinted that Justine Braisaz-Bouchet’s participation in the Loop One Festival in Munich (Germany) on 19 October was still “under discussion”, not least because of the long journey. ” It’s under discussion, in particular with Stéphane [Bouthiaux]”, Cyril Burdet said at the time.

This Friday, the choice has been finalised, as our colleagues at Ski Chrono, relying on the entourage of the biathlete from Les Saisies (Savoie), explain that Justine Braisaz-Bouchet is skipping the German event and will therefore take part in the Summer Tour at La Féclaz (Savoie ), where a sprint and pursuit are scheduled for 18 and 19 October.
Eight members of the French team will be taking part in the first Loop One Festival: Julia Simon, Lou Jeanmonnot, Jeanne Richard, Océane Michelon, Emilien Jacquelin, Fabien Claude, Eric Perrot and Quentin Fillon-Maillet.
