Biathlon: the FFS selections in Bessans get underway this week
It‘s time for the French biathletes to put their bibs back on. After the two rounds of the Summer Tour held in September and October, the FFS selections start this weekend in Bessans (Savoie).
The stakes are clear: tickets for the international circuits, which kick off at the end of November. For the World Cup, following Julia Simon‘s suspension, three women’s tickets are up for grabs, while three men’s and women’s places will be available for the IBU Cup. In each case, the best two of the three performances will be taken into account.

The selection races kick off on Saturday with sprints starting at 9.50 am on the Bessan snowfarm. On Sunday, mass-starts will take place at 9.20am (women) and 10.00am (men). Finally, after a well-deserved rest day, the hostilities will come to a close on Tuesday 18 November with sprints starting at 9.50am.
These competitions, which are not part of the national circuit, are organised by the French Ski Federation (FFS), with the support of the resort and municipality of Bessans,ES Bessans and volunteers from Haute Maurienne Vanoise.
