While theFrench men’s biathlon team has launched its Olympic preparations in earnest over the last few hours by heading to Corrençon-en-Vercors (Isère) for a week-long training camp, Simon Fourcade and Jean-Pierre Amat ‘s French team are not the only ones taking advantage of theEspace biathlon ski-roues in the Vercors.
The Tricolores recently crossed paths with Martin Uldal. Last winter’s Norwegian revelation, the 24-year-old is coached in person by Siegfried Mazet, the emblematic coach of the Norwegian national team and a native of the Vercors plateau. Winner at Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) for the very first time in his career in December, the Scandinavian also works in collaboration with Athletics 3D, a company specialising in the development of rifles and set up by former biathlete Clément Jacquelin.
