Biathlon: Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen is no longer in love
Earlier this week, biathlete Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen made the news official in the Norwegian press: he is no longer in a relationship with Ingvil Ahlsand, his long-time girlfriend with whom he got back together at the end of the summer of 2023 after a few weeks’ break.
The sportsman and his former partner decided to break up this summer. “We are no longer together”, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen explained to TV2. Logically, the break-up was difficult for the reigning Olympic relay champion , who moved to Trondheim (Norway) a year ago to be closer to his beloved.
“It didn’t work out, he regrets. We gave ourselves a lot of last chances, but it wasn’t enough. Still, I’m glad we did our best [to save our relationship].”
Now free as a bird romantically, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen, who now lives in Oslo (Norway), has just completed his last training camp of the summer at the Col de Lavazè (Italy).
