This Sunday evening, after the official ceremony for the women’s biathlon World Cup relay in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic), Cyril Burdet, the group’s coach, was asked by La Chaîne L’Equipe about the finals scheduled for Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway) in a fortnight’ time.
Taking advantage of additional quotas, France will be able to enter up to nine biathletes. “The idea will be to fill all the quotas available to us, because they all deserve it. We’ll have a full quota,” he confirmed.

In addition to the six basic places, we already know that an extra quota will be filled by Amandine Mengin, the best biathlete at the World Junior Championships. The other two spots will go to athletes from the IBU Cup circuit.
