Biathlon: changes to the Norwegian team for Hochfilzen
At midday on Monday, theNorwegian Biathlon Association announced its squad for this week’s World Cup in Hochfilzen (Austria).
There have been a number of changes. Firstly, Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, after his hat-trick in the IBU Cup, has earned his place on the top circuit, while Vebjoern Soerum, who seems to have recovered from his injury, is making a comeback. The fact that Sivert Guttorm Bakken has convinced the staff after some fine performances in Östersund (Sweden) means that Isak Frey and Endre Stroemsheim have been relegated to the IBU Cup.

The group is completed by the yellow bib Johan-Olav Botn, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen, Martin Uldal and Sturla Holm Lægreid.
There has also been an adjustment on the women’s side with the arrival of Aasne Skrede, called up for the World Cup for the first time, in place of Ragnhild Femsteinevik. Currently not up to scratch, Femsteinevik is returning home to prepare. Marthe Kraakstad Johansen, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, Marit Oeygard, Maren Kirkeeide and Karoline Knotten are all back in the squad.
