On Tuesday morning, theNorwegian Biathlon Association unveiled the composition of its mixed relay, which will line up on Wednesday from 2.30pm in the opening event of the 2025 World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland).
While we might have expected Karoline Knotten to start alongsideIngrid Landmark Tandrevold, the thrower, on the women’s side it is Maren Kirkeeide who will be on deck as second thrower. Next up isSturla Holm Lægreid , followed by finisher Johannes Thingnes Boe.

Tarjei Boe, three-time world champion in the speciality, has been rested and will not be taking part in the mixed relay with his younger brother, as was the case last year.
Last but not least, Norway have won the Worlds mixed relay seven times in their history (2011, 2012, 2013, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023).
