Biathlon: Norway unveils its squad for the Östersund World Cup
At midday on Monday, theNorwegian Biathlon Association issued a press release announcing its selection for the World Cup in Östersund (Sweden), scheduled to start on 29 November.
Joining Sturla Holm Lægreid, Endre Stroemsheim, Vebjoern Soerum and Martin Uldal, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen, Johan-Olav Botn and Isak Frey secured their places last weekend at the races in Geilo (Norway). Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, Sivert Guttorm Bakken, who has been named as a reserve, and Sverre Dahlen Aspenes, to name but a few, have not been included.

In the women’s category, the three tickets up for grabs were won by Marit Oeygard, Marthe Kraakstad Johansen and Ragnhild Femsteinevik. As expected, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, Karoline Knotten and Maren Kirkeeide completed the group. Emilie Kalkenberg, Karoline Erdal(reserve) and Juni Arnekleiv, on the other hand, have been eliminated.
