Biathlon: the thirteen Frenchmen selected for Östersund
On Tuesday afternoon, the French Ski Federation (FFS) announced the full list of athletes selected for the first leg of the biathlon World Cup, scheduled for 29 November to 7 December in Östersund (Sweden).
On the women’s side, Amandine Mengin, Camille Bened and Gilonne Guigonnat secured their places at the selection trials in Bessans (Savoie). They will join Océane Michelon, Jeanne Richard, Lou Jeanmonnot and Justine Braisaz-Bouchet in Sweden.

Among the men, Antonin Guigonnat was the most convincing in the eyes of the staff at the races in Geilo (Norway). He is therefore preferred to Oscar Lombardot and Gaëtan Paturel to start the World Cup season alongsideEmilien Claude, Quentin Fillon-Maillet, Eric Perrot, Fabien Claude and Emilien Jacquelin.
