Biathlon: twelve Ukrainians selected for the inaugural World Cup in Östersund
On Wednesday, Ukraine announced its team for the Biathlon World Cup in Östersund (Sweden), as reported by local media Suspilne Sport.
The main surprise is the absence of Yuliia Dzhima, who is still recovering from an injury sustained in a fall in October. To take her place alongside Krystyna Dmytrenko, Anastasiya Merkushyna, Olena Horodna, Daryna Chalyk and Oleksandra Merkushyna, the staff have decided to retain Valeriya Dmytrenko.

On the men’s side, leaders Dmytro Pidruchnyi and Vitalii Mandzyn are on the list, with Artem Tyshchenko, Anton Dudchenko, Bohdan Borkovskyi and Bogdan Tsymbal as lieutenants.
