Biathlon: the US selections have delivered their verdict
On Saturday evening, US Biathlon announced the composition of the American World Cup and IBU Cup groups for December. While the sixteen biathletes listed were all at pre-season camp in Vuokatti (Finland) in recent weeks, the coaches made their selections a few days ago, in races contested with the Czechs and Germans in particular.
The World Cups in Kontiolahti (Finland), Hochfilzen (Austria) and Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) will feature Jake Brown, Sean Doherty, Maxime Germain, Campbell Wright, Grace Castonguey, Kelsey Dickinson, Margie Freed and Deedra Irwin.
In the IBU Cup, in Idre Fjäll (Sweden), Geilo (Norway) and Obertilliach (Austria), Lucinda Anderson, Tara Geraghty-Moats, Michaela Keller-Miller, Jackie Garso, Vincent Bonacci, Luke Brown, Vaclav Cervenka and Eli Nielsen will be wearing the American colours.
