Biathlon: tough competition for the French at the next World Team Challenge
On 28 December, French biathletes Julia Simon and Fabien Claude, as revealed in the spring by the event organisers, will attempt to win the World Team Challenge in Gelsenkirchen (Germany) for the third year running. A historic first.
If that were the case, the French duo would be heading home with the magnificent trophy awarded to the winners. To achieve this, however, they will have to face some formidable competition, with Norway’s Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold and Sturla Holm Lægreid, second in 2023, nearly a minute behind Les Bleus.
Two other duos have already been made official: Germany’s Vanessa Voigt and Justus Strelow and Austria’s Anna Gandler and Simon Eder.
