Rollerski training sessions can be dangerous for those involved in the Nordic world. After Niilo Moilanen and Anikken Gjerde Alnæs a few days ago, it is Alexander Loginov who experienced a misadventure during a session. The biathlete was on his roller skis at over 40 km/h when some wheels detached, causing an inevitable fall that did not spare his wrist.
On the social network Telegram, the Russian recounted this incident: “Twenty years of professional sports make you endure a lot of things, but it is impossible to prepare for roller skis detaching at 40 km/h.”
Injured on his left wrist, Alexander Loginov will likely be absent for the start of the national circuit, as reported by his coach, Dmitry Shukalovich on his YouTube channel: “He will probably miss the first competitions of biathlon, and we will then see depending on the severity of the fracture. Exams are scheduled in the coming days.”
