14:37. The 2026 edition of the Marathon Les Belles Combes, which was due to be held on 14 and 15 February in the Haut-Jura after an initial postponement in December, has finally been cancelled, the organisers announced in a press release.
“Unfortunately, the continuous rain over the last few days has made our routes impassable, despite the hard work of the teams from the Haut-Jura Saint-Claude Community of Communes in securing an alternative route.
” We would like to extend our warmest thanks to our volunteers for their energy and adaptability, and to the local authorities for their ongoing support. We would also like to pay tribute to our partners, in particular those who have supported us for many years, for their commitment and trust.
The Luc Vuillet Challenge, on the other hand, will continue at theStade Nordique des Tuffes in Les Rousses (Jura). U20s and Seniors must register via FFSWeb before 8pm on Friday.
