Cross-country skiing | Biathlon: after Bessans, it’s Les Saisies’ turn to open its snowfarming facilities
Ten days ago, the resort of Bessans (Savoie) opened its snowfarming piste. This Wednesday 11 November, at exactly the same time as last year, it is the turn of Les Saisies (Savoie) to offer skiers its loop made from snow that has been kept under a thick layer of sawdust since last winter.
Approximately 1.5 km in length, this track has been in place for several days now by the Domaines Skiables des Saisies SPL and passes by the shooting range, enabling winter biathlon to be practised.

This winter, the French Biathlon Cup will stop off at the 1992 Olympic stadium on 13 and 14 December, while the French club championships will be held there on 5 April.
