After the women earlier in the morning, it was the cross-country skiers’ turn to compete in the individual classic of the Swedish Cup in Bollnäs (Sweden). At the end of the 15-kilometre race, Truls Gisselman won in a breathless time of 39 min 56 sec 6.

Still in second place with 1.5km to go, the 23-year-old cross-country skier finished in a blaze of glory to beat his compatriot Gustaf Berglund by 2 seconds. Another Swede, Gustav Kvarnbrink, rounded off the podium at 10.5 seconds.
Emil Porret from Dauphiné was at the start: he finished fifty-third, more than 4 minutes behind the winner.
