19:51. Late on Thursday afternoon, the 2025 Swedish cross-country skiing championships got underway in Borås (Sweden). It was a free sprint that kicked off the hostilities.
Jonna Sundling won the qualifying heats by a wide margin and went on to win the final by almost 10 seconds over Emma Ribom. Johanna Hagstroem took bronze ahead of Moa Lundgren, Magdalena Nilsson and Ebba Andersson.
In the men’s event, the national gold medal went to Marcus Grate, who won ahead of Emil Danielsson, the winner of the qualifying round, and Adam Persson.
