Cross-country skiing: William Poromaa in demonstration
This Saturday morning, the classic mass-start race was held in Borås (Sweden) as part of the 2025 Swedish cross-country skiing championships. At the end of the 20-kilometre race, William Poromaa won in 52 min 23 sec 4.
Winner of the same format on his last outing at the Les Rousses (Jura) cross-country skiing world cup, the Swede confirmed his good form by crushing the competition. This demonstration bodes well for William Poromaa ahead of the world championships in Trondheim (Norway).

The 24-year-old cross-country skier broke away at the front of the race with Jens Burman from the seventh kilometre before taking off alone in the twelfth kilometre, leaving his rivals no chance.
Jens Burman took second place, more than a minute behind his compatriot. Gustaf Berglund completed the podium.
