09:07. This Sunday, a skiathlon is on the programme for the final day of competition at the Lillehammer (Norway) cross-country skiing world cup. An event in which Mika Vermeulen will not be taking part.
Affected by a slight sore throat this morning, the Austrian preferred not to take part in today’s race. However, he could have been aiming for a fine performance, having already competed against the best cross-country skiers on the circuit last Sunday in the mass-start in Ruka (Finland), where he took an excellent fourth place.
