In the last few hours, Nordiq Canada has revealed the names of the cross-country skiers selected for the first leg of the 2024/2025 Cross-Country Skiing World Cup. During the stages in Ruka (Finland), Lillehammer (Norway) and Davos (Switzerland), nine cross-country skiers will represent Canada.
Sonjaa Schmidt, Liliane Gagnon and Katherine Stewart-Jones have been selected for the women’s team, while Max Hollmann, Antoine Cyr, Olivier Léveillé, Xavier McKeever, Pierre Grall-Johnson and Sasha Masson have been selected for the men’s squad. It should be noted that Graham Ritchie was offered a place in the squad, but declined.
