Cross-country skiing: four French women and eight French men have already secured their place at the 2026 Olympic Games
At 2pm on Tuesday, the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF ) unveiled an initial list of French cross-country skiers selected for the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
The men’s squad, which is already complete, includes Richard Jouve, Jules Chappaz, Lucas Chanavat, Jules Lapierre, Mathis Desloges, Hugo Lapalus and Théo Schely. As a result, a number of players have been left out of the squad, including Rémi Bourdin, Victor Lovera and Clément Parisse.
On the women’s side, the first four names have been announced. Bressau’s Léonie Perry and Delphine Claudel, despite their injuries at the start of the winter, as well as Montblanc’s Mélissa Gal and Julie Pierrel will be travelling to Italy.
