Cross-country skiing : Luigi Biancolli doubles up
This Saturday, the French cross-country skiers returned to the 2025/2026 French Cross-Country Ski Cup for the second stage, held on the Plateau des Glières (Haute-Savoie) in place ofArvieux (Hautes-Alpes). Skate sprints opened the weekend’s competition.

Luigi Biancolli, from Haut-Savoie, had already won the qualifying round. The cross-country skier from Ski Club nordique du Pays Rochois had the perfect day , winning the qualifier and then all his races in the final phase. It was his second French Cup win of the winter, following his victory in the same format in Bessans (Savoie).

He beat Gaspard Cottaz from Dauphiné, who won his quarter-final and semi-final. The podium was completed by Montblanc’s Victor Lafrasse, first in the U18 category.

Bornandin Quentin Lespine came fourth in the final, ahead of Zacharie Bourdin from the Jura and Valentin Berna from the Vosges.
