Cross-country skiing: Justine Braisaz-Bouchet triumphs at the Customs Tournament
This Wednesday morning, the 72nd Customs Tournament kicked off on the Col de Lavazè (Italy) with the individual women’s 5km cross-country skiing race. At these facilities, which host few competitions but many summer courses, it was biathlete Justine Braisaz-Bouchet who came to the fore.
With a time of 14 min 3 sec 75, La Beaufortaine won the race and won a gold medal for her administration. On the podium, the Frenchwoman was joined by Italian Caterina Ganz in second place at 5 sec 67 and Italian Laura Gimmler in third at 14 sec 19.
The top 10 was rounded off by Francesca Franchi, Mélissa Gal from Haut-Savoy, fifth at just over 3 seconds from bronze, Aita Gasparin, Veronica Silvestri, Selina Grotian, Beatrice Laurent and Juliette Ducordeau from Dauphiné.
