A few hours after announcing the arrival of Kasper Stadaas in the men’s squad for the new cross-country skiing season, and more specifically for the Ski Classics, Team Aker Dæhlie attracted another well-known name from the international circuits.

Anne Kjersti Kalvaa , who struggled last winter at the World Cup, is set to join the ranks of the Scandinavian squad, as our colleagues at VG explained. Having been dropped from the national squad, the Norwegian will be preparing for the 2025/2026 season alongside her compatriot Astrid Oeyre Slind, who has been a member of the Norwegian squad for a number of seasons. For her, the logical objective will be to get back on the road to World Cup performance as quickly as possible.
