This winter, Haavard Solaas Taugboel failed to reach the podium in the cross-country skiing World Cup as he had done on three occasions during the 2024/2025 season. Lacking success and sometimes sidelined from the Norwegian squad, the 31-year-old cross-country skier made an important decision on Tuesday.
Indeed, next year, the Scandinavian will no longer be competing on his discipline’s flagship circuit. From now on, it will be in the Ski Classics races that the sturdy lad will be competing. Anders Aukland, boss of Team Ragde Charge, revealed his arrival on Instagram.

“It’s very exciting. We’ve thought for a long time that Haavard is the rider with the greatest potential to become a good long-distance racer. He has often reached the semi-finals and finals in sprint skateboarding and classic racing,” the manager explained to NTB. We think he’ll be a good recruit.
