At midday on Saturday, the Skjærvikrennet, a popular Norwegian cross-country ski race organised in Kvaløysletta (Norway), took place over 14km. The young French skateboarder Pom’ Rives, from CSR Pontarlier, took part in this mass-start event.
On holiday with her family on site, the 18-year-old cross-country skier who took part in the EYOWF this winter took the opportunity to take fifth place, 5 min 49 behind the winner Synne Arnesen, the U23 mixed relay world champion in 2021. Her compatriots Tone Lise Pedersen and Ellinor Marie Ness rounded off the top 3.

On the men’s side, Erik Valnes, the great favourite, came out on top. A sprint victory for the cross-country skier with three world gold medals to his name. Noah Marius Olsen and Edvin Frost finished on the podium, while Olivier Rives was thirty-second… in the same time as his daughter Pom’.
