Minutes after France’s Gaspard Rousset won the senior classic pursuit at the FESA Cup cross-country skiing competition in Falcade (Italy), it was the U20s who were on deck.
The leading trio at the start was the same at the finish of the 15km. But the order was different as Davide Negroni, on home soil, won ahead of Germany’s Jakob Elias Moch and Switzerland’s Isai Naeff.

Among the French riders, Romain Vaxelaire was eighth, his second top 10 in a row. Quentin Viguier was eleventh and Jules Bobillier-Chaumont twelfth after a fine comeback. Further back, Simon Clavel was thirty-second and Mario Perrillat-Collomb thirty-seventh.
