This Sunday, the women cross-country skiers competed in an individual 10-kilometre classic on the final day of the second round of the Scandinavian cross-country skiing cup in Falun (Sweden). One day follows another for Helene Marie Fossesholm , who claimed her third success in three days after the individual skate race on Friday and the sprint skate race the day before.
In a hotly contested race, the Norwegian beat Sweden’s Evelina Crusell by 4 seconds and 5 tenths. The podium was completed by Maren Wangensteen, who finished 6 seconds and 7 tenths behind her compatriot.
