Cross-country skiing: Italy with sixteen at the world championships
On Monday, the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) unveiled the list of cross-country skiers selected for the World Championships scheduled to start next week in Trondheim (Norway).
First of all, the women’s group is without Nicole Monsorno, who has been injured in recent weeks after twice breaking into the top 10 during the winter. Federica Cassol, Anna Comarella, Martina Di Centa, Catarina Ganz, Maria Gismondi and Nadine Laurent are the only women selected.
On the men’s side, Federico Pellegrino will be the sole leader of the group. In Norway, Simone Mocellini will be joined by Martino Carollo, Elia Barp, Simone Dapra, Francesco De Fabiani, Davide Graz, Michael Hellweger, Dietmar Noeckler, Giovanni Ticco and Paolo Ventura.
