Cross-country skiing : eleven French women in the finals
Saturday morning saw the start of the fifth stage of the 2025/2026 FESA Cup. It was the cross-country skaters who got the ball rolling with the sprint skate qualifiers, contested on the Nove Mesto track (Czech Republic).

In the Under-20 category, Les Bleues have put in an impressive performance. There will be five of them at the start of the finals. Annette Coupat was third, Romane Nappey fourth and Agathe Margreither fifth. Lucile Coutaz was fifteenth and Anouchka Neuville seventeenth.

In the senior category, there were six Tricolores at the start of the quarter-finals. Bornand’s Léna Quintin set the fastest time, ahead of Cluse’s Margot Tirloy. Clémence Didierlaurent was fifth, Liv Coupat eleventh and Daphné Patois twelfth. Juliette Ducordeau, winner of the Transjurassienne last weekend, came twentieth. On the other hand, Heidi Convard was thirty-seventh.
