Cross-country skiing: double podium for the French U20s at the FESA Cup
Late on Saturday morning, the French juniors shone in the final stages of the classic sprint at the FESA Cup cross-country skiing competition in Oberwiesenthal (Germany).
Solid throughout the rounds, there were no fewer than three French women in the grand final.

In the final, Daphné Patois of the i3 Ski Team dominated proceedings to take victory ahead of Italy’s Beatrice Laurent and her compatriot from Montblanc, Anouchka Neuville. Sixth place for Ariane Pignot.

However, the competition came to an end in the semi-finals for Margot Tirloy from Haut-Savoy and Annette Coupat from Forézienne.
