Cross-country skiing: Quentin Lespine, Gaspard Cottaz, Victor Cullet Calderini and Gaspard Rousset placed
A few minutes after the end of the women’s finals, the qualifying rounds for the men’s skate sprints took place this Friday lunchtime in Prémanon (Jura) as part of the 2024/2025 FESA Cup cross-country finals.
In total, no fewer than forty-eight French players took part. Sixteen of them made the top 30 cut to qualify for the rest of the tournament. Among the seniors, after the victory of Italian Giacomo Gabrielli, Victor Cullet Calderini, Gaspard Rousset, Ivan Essonnier, Luc Primet, Charly Rousset, Arnaud Chautemps and Anaël Lecerf qualified.

In the U20 category, Switzerland’s Isai Naeff set the fastest time. The French qualifiers were Quentin Lespine, Gaspard Cottaz, Quentin Viguier, Johan Calandry, Simon Clavel, Isaïe Taxil, Romain Vaxelaire, Joachim Bunod and Lorin Vergnolle.
The eliminated players are : Lucas Gaillard, Mathieu Blanc, Félix Caillot, Mattéo Correia, Charly Deuffic, Robin Berjoan, Antoine Lanne, Pierre Jan, Ugo Zanellato, Simon Chappaz, Noa Genest, Hugo Malgrand, Constant Missillier, Lennie Vincent and Hugo Serot (seniors); Mario Perrillat-Collomb, Luigi Biancolli, Zacharie Bourdin, Paul Rousset Vachon, Victor Lafrasse, Clément Monnier, Maëlyas Boyer Deschamps, Adrien Marchand, Loris Chevalier, Timothé Maugain, Paul Schlussel, Baptiste Betend, Valentin Berna, Pablo Sanchez, Nino Sansonne, Manech Vernerey and Simon Millereau (U20s).
