Cross-country skiing : Annette Coupat doubles up in Seefeld
The U20 cross-country skiers concluded Saturday’s FESA Cup in Seefeld (Austria) with theindividual classic on the programme.
Having already won the classic sprint on Friday, Annette Coupat from Forézienne doubled her tally. Turning on the green from the first intermediate, the 19-year-old cross-country skier rode solo to the finish and won by a wide margin. She finished ahead of Germany’s Sarah Hofmann by 52 seconds and 8 tenths, and Switzerland’s Lina Bundi by 53 seconds and 5 tenths.

The young French girls dominated the top 10: Romane Nappey was fifth, Lucile Coutaz sixth, Agathe Margreither eighth and Noélie Vittoz tenth. However, Anouchka Neuville did not start.
