13:45. On Monday, the Finnish federation revealed the names of the nineteen athletes who will represent their country at the cross-country skiing world cup in Les Rousses (Jura), which starts this Friday.
In the women’s race, only Krista Pärmäkoski is missing to defend her chances on the French stage. One of the favourites for the classic sprint, Jasmi Joensuu will be there. She will be joined byAnne Kyllönen, Katri Lylynperä, Kerttu Niskanen, Vilma Nissinen, Eveliina Piippo, Vilma Ryytty and Amanda Saari.
In the men’s team, star Iivo Niskanen will also be taking part in the Jura. Ville Ahonen, Niko Anttola, Juuso Haarala, Ristomatti Hakola, Miro Karppanen, Emil Liekari, Wiljam Mattila, Niilo Moilanen, Arsi Ruuskanen and Lauri Vuorinen will also be making the trip for the three days of competition.
