12:10. This Sunday morning, the FIS cross-country ski races in Muonio (Finland) concluded with the 10km individual skate races. In this highly competitive event, it was Germany’s Helen Hoffmann who dominated the women’s race.
After an effort of 27 min 9 sec 2, she beat Italy’s Maria Gismondi by 13 sec 6 and her compatriot Pia Fink by 15 sec 2. Kerttu Niskanen was fifth.
Then, in the men’s race, Germany also triumphed, with Anian Sossau-Daubermann raising his arms. Ahead from start to finish, he won by 7.9 seconds from Norway’s Preben Horven and 15.5 seconds from Finland’s Joni Mäki.
